We hunt our Brittany's, they are not only in the show ring, but are hunted in the field. Rita and Logan have their Junior
Hunter Titles, and Sierra now has her Junior hunter title. They will now all move up to Senior. We hope to start training
them for field trials also very soon.
A Hunters Heart
What might it be?
What could they see?
They take in the morning dew
And they breathe in the crisp fresh air
Anticipation everywhere.
A snap, a crack, on the forest floor
Alert to sound, sight and even more
A slight movement, a rigid pose
And little wiggle of the nose.
The prey is found and takes flight
But they knew it before first sight
it gives them rise to their wandering ways
No longer seen, gone before your eyes
A hunter's heart will not be stilled
Off they will go, oh what a thrill
To wander through field and stream
To relive the hunt in their dreams.
